Animation. - Still awaiting Upload.

This was my first attempt at my animation and as i was so happy with it i didn't need to re do it. I followed my story board the best i could which meant that i created a DVD opening sequence which resembled exacally what i wanted.

Using the ideas which i took from ceebbies programme Mr Maker and programmes which i watched when i was younger i created i programme which incorpirated the ideas which i wanted to include which were those of a creative programme and a educational drama. The reason why i wanted to make a creative programme which i did is because from my research and from understanding what children like to do i knew that younger children enjoy to be creative and make things. Even though my brief was to make a children's drama i wanted to also use my knowladge of what makes a child interested. Mr maker helped me come up with the idea of the ending which i did by using all 'creative' things i could find - such as pipe cleaners, pom-poms, sticks and beads to create a idea of all these things in which you can make things with. All of the animation i made was made from creative things. All the numbers and letters were made out of pipe cleaners and the background was just a sheet of purple fome. I had to pad out the animation a bit as it wouldn't have been long enough for opening sequence if i had left it as it was. The clock idea was a idea i created at the time of the story board and by using two pieces of white fome, pens and pipe cleaners i created the clock. The reason why i had the clock in the animation is because my programme is a learning drama so for example i had the clock, numbers and letters so it shows that these would be things that you would learn.

The music which i used for my animation was something i made of Garage Band. Garage band was a new piece of software in which i used. To create the music on the animation i knew it had to be something that was cheerful and creative. The music in which i decided to use in teh end was made with percussion and guitars. At the end of the piece there is laughter which is intended to be the sound of my character. This is because i haven't got a picture of my main character through out the opening sequence and this is because the image i had used was a 2D image and i as said in my working production blog it was difficult to make a 3D image. Using a 2D image just wouldn't look right in my production as i thought it would just look to fake.

The colours i chose to use though out my production were meant to look happy and interesting as they were for children. When i padded out my animation i used other creative things as i thought this would link back to the idea of it being a creative programme.
